Government's Bids to Regulate Church Finances: Bishop Oyedepo Blasts FG

Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, Living Faith, has taken a swipe on the Federal Government in its bid to regulate and control the financial dealings of churches in Nigeria.

This is coming on the heels of Alhaji Garba Abubakar, the Registrar General of Corperate Affairs Commission statement saying "he has the power to remove the TRUSTEES of the CHURCH, CLOSE the ACCOUNT of the CHURCH and no COURT in Nigeria can reverse it."

Consequently, the Bishop came hard on the Government on Sunday, assuring Believers that the FG would fail in its attempt to control the church.
